Medicare Secondary Payer Provisions and Questionnaire

All Part B provider/supplier types are invited to attend this free webinar designed to introduce attendees to Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) calculations. Ensure that your office is receiving the correct Medicare reimbursement and charging patients appropriately when Medicare is the secondary payer. Please note that this seminar will not include an overview of the MSP provisions or billing instructions.

Click on the session link for event details, registration, and materials or visit the website and:

  • Determine and select your Medicare contract business type
  • On the provider-specific home page, Click on Education tab located at the top of the page; select the Webinars, Teleconferences & Events link to the right of the web page
  • The event sessions are listed in date order; search for the title of the session you want to attend for event details. To register for the session, click on the "Register," Note: Materials for the session will be added to the Event Details Page two (2) days prior to the event.

Note: Your registration is complete only when you receive a confirmation at your e-mail address immediately after submitting your registration.

Medicare University Computer-Based Training Course Listings

Medicare University Updates

National Government Services, Inc. strives to deliver detailed information through several resources including Medicare University. Recently the Medicare University portal page located on the National Government Services Web site was recently enhanced. Some of the new features include:

  • Listing of all Computer-Based Training (CBT) courses available in Medicare University
  • Listing all applicable Course Catalog IDs to assist in understanding which Medicare contract the course is applicable to
  • Updated frequently asked questions about Medicare University
  • Step-by-step instructions on accessing the Self-Reporting Tool
  • Step-by-step instructions on accessing CBTs

To access the Medicare University portal page:

  • Go to
  • Select your Medicare contract
  • Select the Accept button when presented with the Attestation page
  • Click on Education tab located at the top of the page; select the Webinars, Teleconferences & Events link to the right of the web page. Click on the Medicare University tab then click on "Register" located to the left.

National Government Services, Inc. has revised all CBTs that are located in Medicare University to reflect the most current Medicare guidelines. The CBTs are an interactive online tutorial, which have been developed to help assist in the dissemination of provider/supplier information.

To access Medicare University go to

Once in Medicare University:

  • Login or Create a New User
  • Go to the Course Catalog and Locate the Catalog ID of the Desired Course
  • Click the green "+" sign to the left of the event and then click "Yes" to enroll
  • Click "My Courses" on the top menu; locate the course you enrolled in
Click the orange arrow to launch the course
