NYPTA Now Accepting Participants for Opioid Speakers Bureau

NYPTA is now accepting participants for an Opioid Speakers Bureau. The purpose of this group is to enhance the knowledge base of providers and consumers on the impact of physical therapy as an alternative to opioid use for pain management.


The Opioid Speakers Bureau intends to provide a collection of physical therapists who are experts in the subject matters related to the opioid crisis. Subjects include: Alternative Treatment, Pain Management Psychology, Early Referral, etc. NYPTA is seeking physical therapists who would be willing to participate in potential panel discussions, local/regional presentations, etc in both the provider and consumer settings. The Opioid Speakers Bureau opportunity is open to members and non-members.
