Course: It Takes A Village: Advocacy to Advance the Profession

Successful PTs and PTAs have the courage to advocate to their patients; the audacity to advocate to their colleagues; and the resolve to advocate to society (including legislators) to advance health and wellness in our communities.  Advocacy is a skill that is central to your success. This session is designed to prepare PTs and PTAs with communication, listening and advocacy skills for communicating their personal message of the value from optimizing movement to improve the human experience.
