Course Description:

When the Feet Hit the Ground… Everything Changes focuses on establishing sound understanding of the foot and ankle complex. Topics include normal gait, subtalar neutral assessment, intrinsic and extrinsic abnormalities, lower extremity biomechanical evaluation, footwear, orthotics, video gait analysis, specific pathologies, manual therapy, taping and therapeutic exercise. The course is instructed by practicing clinicians and is constantly updated to bring the newest research into a practice context. Our intent is to develop a fundamental mastery of foot and ankle rehab from the eval through all aspects of potential treatment, drawing out the connection between pathology and structural foot characteristics. This course will change the way you evaluate and treat injuries related to the foot and ankle. 18 CEUs in NY.
