1.) Course Title: Evidence-Based Examination and Management of Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction

This course will focus on clinical anatomy and biomechanics of the lower lumbar and sacroiliac joint, with emphasis on commonly encountered pathologies. A brief historical perspective leading up to the current understanding of SIJ and pelvic pain will be discussed. Evidence-based features of the examination (including special tests), therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy interventions will be presented in a clinically oriented impairment-based format for immediate clinical application.

2.) Course Title: Navigating the Path to Success in Independent Private Physical Therapy Practice

This Six-hour course will introduce the PT/PTA to current historical and practice models, proposed payment initiatives and future practice models that will affect reimbursement and practice management decisions as we move forward as a profession.

3.) Course TitleApplication of Sensory Integration Approach in Physical Therapy

Participants will learn what are the necessary components of Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) treatment approach. Participants will become familiar with the evidence from Literature reviews which focused on sensory integration treatment and walk away with a clear guidance on which treatment approach has evidence support and could be incorporated into their practice. Strategies to use in physical therapy session when working specifically with patients with Autism and SID will be shared.
