Catskill District is excited to offer the Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program


Registering for this event is a multi-step process. In order to assist you in your registration, we have included step by step instructions below.


1. Complete the online registration form and submit online credit card payment (by clicking the register button above).

2. Download the blank dossier form (using the link that is provided on the registration page).

3. Next, you will receive an email with a link to submit your completed dossier and a copy of your license.

4. Submit your completed dossier and license copy, at the link, within 4 days of completing your registration

5. Upon speaker approval, you will receive notification that you are approved for the course.

CI Credentialing Course
Presented by: Ruth Lyons Hansen, PT, DPT, CCS, DCE, APTA Credentialed Clinical Trainer


Course Description: 

Designed for persons in health professions interested in or involved with clinical education (Clinical Instructors [CIs], Center Coordinators of Clinical Education [CCCEs], and Academic Coordinators/Directors of Clinical Education [ACCEs/DCEs]) and is recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as the Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program (CCIP).


Speaker Bio: 

Ruth Lyons Hansen is the Associate Director of the Graduate Program in Physical Therapy at Mercy College, where she serves as the Director of Clinical Education. Ruth is board certified by the American Board of Physical Specialties in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy. She has been a certified trainer for the American Physical Therapy Association’s Clinical Instructor Credentialing Program since 1998. She has over 25 years of clinical experience where she has been involved in student clinical supervision.

Members: $200

Non-Members: $300


Credit Hours: 

This course is approved for 1.6 CEUs (16 CEHs)

Parking available in 1st lot on left side of Beck place (north of the Allied Health Building)


Enrollment in this program is limited, so please register early.


Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation requests must be received three weeks prior to the course April 6th, 2018, and be in writing. They must be sent to the district event coordinator at for approval. All cancellations are subject to a 25% administrative fee.
