THE 2019  NEW YORK PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE

The New York Physical Therapy Association (NYPTA) Conference is a statewide education event for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students of physical therapy. Association members and non-members are welcome to attend educational sessions offering up to 13 hours of continuing education credits in two days. In addition to the educational seminars, we offer poster presentations, networking opportunities, and an exhibit hall featuring suppliers from throughout the state and country who have services to offer our profession.

The conference presents a great opportunity for organizations and companies to showcase their information and services to an attentive audience of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students.

COSTS:

The event costs include your course registration, admission to the exhibit hall, a light breakfast and buffet lunch, as well as morning and afternoon coffee breaks.

YOU CAN WIN FREE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION!

Refer a colleague to attend the conference and ask them to include your name in the space provided on the registration form. Members that refer the most people will have their name entered into the blind drawing to win free registration for the full two-days of programming. Winner will receive a payment refund following the event.

 

COURSE DETAILS AND DESCRIPTIONS: 


This year we will offer four half day, (3.25 credit hours) and four full day, (6.5 credit hours) continuing education courses, covering a range of topics.

 

Half day AM courses run from 8:30 am - 12:15 pm while half day PM courses from from 1:15pm - 5:00pm. Full day courses run from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with breaks for coffee and lunch. Click "View sessions" above, or click HERE to review the detailed course descriptions.

Exciting new events in 2019!

This year we have two new events for you to partake in:

  • Prior to the start of conference on, Thursday October 17th, we will be hosting an Advocacy Workshop from 2:30pm-6:30pm. More information & registration can be found HERE!
  • During conference on, Friday October 18th, have fun at our 50th Anniversary PTA Celebration from 7pm-9pm! More information & registration can be found HERE!

 

HOTEL 

This event will take place at the Saratoga Hilton, located at 534 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Overnight hotel rooms are reserved for our group at a special rate of $176 per night, until September 16, 2019. Two options for booking are: 

Hotel check in is 3:00pm and check out is 11:00am.

EXHIBIT HALL 

The Exhibit Hall will be open 9am - 5pm on Friday and 9am - 3:30pm on Saturday. 


CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellations received in writing by September 29, 2019, are refundable. A 25% administrative fee will be assessed on all cancellations.
