Academic Administrators Special Interest Group (AASIG): The purpose of the AASIG is to provide means by which Chapter members having a common interest of academic administration may meet, confer, and promote these interests.

Alliance of Independent PTs of the NYPTA (AIPT): The purpose of the AIPT shall be to provide a means by which New York Chapter members having a
common interest in the private practice of physical therapy may meet, confer, share ideas and concerns, and coordinate efforts to promote and advance the private practice of physical therapy in New York State.

Student Special Interest Group (SSIG): The NYSSIG is a group formed under the New York Chapter that will allow PT and PTA students a means to meet, confer and promote interest of its classes, the NY Chapter, and the APTA.
