The Purpose of the PTA Committee
The purpose of the PTA Committee is to develop a communication network
among all districts and the Board of Directors, establish guidelines to
provide continuing education for PTAs (local Districts and Annual Conference),
track affiliate membership trends in the state, and to establish guidelines
for educating PTs on the role of the PTA. The committee is accountable
to Board of Directors and consists of four members, at least three of
whom are PTAs and one who may be faculty in a PTA program. The Vice President
as ex-officio member and one BOD member as a liaison. The Chairperson
is appointed by the Executive Committee.
