NYPTA President Mike Mattia accepts a challenge from NHAPTA President Dee Daley
As many of you already know, the APTA has established an “Integrity in Practice” section on their website. In the latest edition of the NYPTA newsletter, I have asked members to register and complete the first webinar which is titled “Navigating the Regulatory Environment: Ensuring Compliance while Promoting Professional Integrity.” This webinar is free to all members.
In order to highlight our members’ commitment to Integrity in Practice, I have accepted a challenge from Dee Daley, President of the New Hampshire Chapter of the APTA.
President Daley has challenged that a greater percentage of New Hampshire members will complete the first course by years’ end than New York members will. The results will be based on percentage rather than number since we have a much larger membership in our state. If New York wins, I will receive a New Hampshire themed prize for our state. If New Hampshire wins, I must send President Daley a New York themed prize.
The APTA has agreed to track the results and we will find out which state wins based on their numbers. As your President, I ask you:
“Do you really want New Hampshire to win?”
I think not. Let’s get started today. I have signed up, how about you? Everyone wins in the end. Let the challenge begin!!
