The NYPTA Public Relations Committee is challenging all NYPTA districts to a PR Contest! There are many exciting physical therapy events happening this fall — Sept. 23rd is National Falls Prevention Awareness Day, Oct. 17th is National PT Day of Service, and October is Physical Therapy Month. The District that demonstrates the most public relations activities within the months of September and October will be awarded the Golden Goniometer at the NYPTA Annual Conference on Oct. 23rd and 24th. These events can be a variety of activities — they just need to reflect the core values of being a physical therapist and/or promote the value of physical therapy. The District with the most documented activities by Oct. 19th will be the winner!
Anyone can submit an entry! Please submit the following information to PR@nypta.org by Oct. 19th: Your name, district, a written summary of PR activities or event you participated in, information on social media posts related to your activity, and photos of events/promotions/participants.
